Lunch with Mark Diesendorf

Do we need to continue using coal to generate electricity? Is it possible to get all our power from renewable Mark_D_book.jpgsources, such as the wind or the sun?

Mackay Conservation Group is presenting a very special event - lunch with Australia's leading researcher on renewable energy, Mark Diesendorf from the University of New South Wales.

Mark has been advocating for renewable energy techonologies for over 40 years and will be speaking about his latest book Sustainable Energy Solutions for Climate Change, which was published last year.

This is a free event.

Please RSVP for this special event. If you're not able to join us for lunch, Mark is also speaking at an evening event hosted by Engineers Australia (entry $30)
