The Great Barrier Reef is one of Queensland’s greatest assets; providing jobs, protecting coastlines, provisioning medicines, and much more. The Reef is under many threats but fortunately, Queensland has the power to make a positive change over one of the leading pressures; by improving water quality.
We need to work together and support one another as individuals, organisations, farmers, fishers and other relevant stakeholders to help improve the Reef's long term future. This will allow the Reef to increase resilience to other threats being faced, and therefore continue to be a valuable asset for many generations to come.
