Once again Lindeman Island National Park is under threat from a resort development. Back in the 1980s we thought we had put this issue to bed for all time when tens of thousands of Queenslanders voiced their opposition to the Bjelke-Petersen government's plans to revoke a huge section of the national park for an earlier proposal.
Now White Horse wants the government to grant them a perpetual lease over nearly four square kilometres of the national park to expand their development into areas that have never had any permanent structures.
People power has protected Lindeman in the past and it will today, but we need to ensure that as many people as possible are aware of the threat. You can help by making a small donation that will cover the costs of running this campaign. Please help if you can.
