Come and explore the shoreline at Shoal Point during the low tide. You'll be surprised to see the diversity of marine life that occurs around Mackay. Shoal Point displays a range of coastal lifeforms that will amaze you. You'll see critically endangered vine forest along the dunes, hard and soft corals and sea stars. The sandy foreshore is ever-changing so we can't tell exactly what the low tide will expose from one visit to the next. We will have expert guides on hand to help explain how the coast was formed at Shoal Point and to help you identify the species you discover.
