About

Mackay Conservation Group protects nature in the Mackay - Isaac - Whitsunday region of Central Queensland. The region covers an area of about 89,900 square kilometres (17% larger than Tasmania).

We lead campaigns and advise our community on how to take effective environmental action. We have a small team of paid staff and rely heavily on volunteers to organise and run our activities.
