Bowen CSG Petition

Will you sign?

To the Board of Arrow Energy,

We would like to express our concern about the proposed Bowen Gas Project which could include up to 6250 production gas wells in the area between Blackwater, Moranbah, Middlemount and Glenden.

Serious concerns are being raised about the impacts of CSG on water resources, land, air and the global climate. We support farmers groups and the Australian community in calling for a moratorium on new coal seam gas projects, including the Bowen Gas Project

Maybe we should appoint the Shadow Treasurer, Chris Bowen – (as) Patron for the Saving of Bowen ? After all, the Labor Party under Kevin Rudd called Climate Change the greatest challenge for this generation and in view of the inarguable and immediate significance of OUR Great Barrier Reef – in the now Global Debate – it shouldn’t be too hard to convince the Australian voter to give their first preference to the Party which is going to Protect OUR Irreplaceable Reef against a Foreign Coal Miner’s Bank Account..

We won’t get a second chance if we lose our fragile and precious reefs. The planet’s viability is hanging in the balance…safe, renewable energy is the direction we need to head in.
