We're kicking off regular monthly socials in December so you can enjoy being with people who are working to make the world a better place. This is a very relaxed, informal gathering for people interested in improving the social and natural environment.
This is an opportunity for you to meet other people who are taking action for environmental and social good in our community.
In 2023 we aim to make this a regular monthly event run by volunteers. Come along to this first EcoSocial and enjoy the atmosphere.
How the West Was Lost
To celebrate international Human Rights Day, there will be a screening of the film How the West Was Lost at 5.30pm, prior to the start of the EcoSocial.
This documentary retells the story of an amazing industrial campaign run by First Nations peoples in the Kimberley during the 1940s. It is a story of cross-cultural organising, resilience in the face of overwhelming power, adherence to values and much more. A very inspiring film for anyone wanting to achieve social change.
