As part of the nationwide 10 days of action, we are holding a rally out the front of the National Australia Bank (NAB) to demand that they stop funding Whitehaven Coal, who have plans to double their coal production.
We will be gathering out the front of the Mackay CBD branch in a show of strength, with our banners and signs as visible as possible!We need YOUR help!

NAB are promoting themselves as a green bank, yet they have been involved in lending deals worth billions of dollars to Whitehaven Coal. Whitehaven needs another $4 billion to get three new proposed coal projects off the ground – including Winchester South near Moranbah. Previous funders like NAB are at serious risk of getting involved.
We encourage everyone to come along and show their support for a cleaner, more sustainable future. Together, we can send a powerful message that we will not tolerate the destruction of our planet for the sake of profit.
