Join other concerned community members in taking action to put an end to coal and gas!
Why does this matter?
Fires are already tearing through Queensland, Mackay is heating up and we're all worried about the reef and the rainforest this El Nino. We know that burning fossil fuels is the leading cause of increasing global temperatures.
From First Nations communities seeing their Country destroyed by coal and gas, to Pacific nations suffering super storms and rising seas, and communities bracing for bushfires after floods - a resounding call is coming for our Governments to act on the climate crisis.
But, the Labor Government is failing the number one test - by giving new approvals to coal and gas corporations - pouring more fuel on the fire.
That’s why From December 4-12 during the global climate talks people from all over Australia will be taking action in their communities to Turn Up the Heat on decision makers!
We will be rallying out the front of Julieanne Gilbert's office, and presenting her with messages from concerned community members. We will be demanding that our elected MP take on bord our concerns, and advocate for a safe future for all.
Join us to call for strong action on climate change, No New Coal or Gas!
