Doorknock for the Mangroves

Join us for a community doorknocking session to help spread the word about the proposed Mackay Port Access Road and its impacts on local mangroves, wildlife, wetlands and nearby residents.

Together, we’ll be speaking with neighbours who live near the proposed road in northern Mackay, and raise awareness about the project - like the air and noise pollution residents will experience if it goes ahead.

We need your help to raise awareness in our community about the impact this road will have!

Come along for doorknock training with other volunteers on World Oceans Day (Mon 8 June). Training will also be given on the day - and everyone will be paired up!
